Serie A side Juventus endured a painful exit involving Paulo Dybala not too long ago. The Roma star has shown his value in the Italian capital and the Bianconeri could be interested in bringing him back.
La Gazzetta dello Sport – via Calciomercato, report that while talks over a new deal are ongoing between Roma and Dybala’s entourage, some sensational background has emerged.
Juventus are keeping an eye on the situation and have made contact with his agent Carlos Novel. This was an attempt to understand the finances of a deal and whether the player could be keen. Other clubs are also monitoring La Joya but Juve’s interest obviously stands out.
Talks between Roma and Dybala’s entourage are currently stalled. The player demands a wage of €3 million, with the club stuck at €2.5 million.
Tactic to scare Roma
It feels like Dybala’s entourage has purposely leaked this information to pressurise Roma. This is based in the hope that they meet the player’s demands and don’t risk the idea of losing him to a major rival.
Besides, it remains to be seen if Juve follow up their intial contact with formal negotiations.
